The aluminium discus and hammer cage is made from special aluminium profile. The extremely sturdy aluminium profiles are specially manufactured for this cage. The posts are oval shaped and measure a cross section of 120 x 100mm. The wall thickness increases from 4 to 6mm. This cage is a ground socket system and the 10m post are further strengthened with an insert profile. This profile supports the post in the lower area. The cage is equipped with a high quality safety net. The aluminium construction combine enormous stability with handling comfort. During competitions the cage is easy to use. The position of the gate can be adjusted by one person only. The net of the cage can be raised or lowered within minutes, if necessary. One set of hammer cage consists of: - 10 uprights (120x100 oval profiles, wall thickness 4-6mm) - 2 gates - 4 crossbars for the uprights at 10m height - 2 trolleys for adjusting the gates (including the necessary weights)
